Pootie look like whodunit and RAN!

So a bit of an update for the last couple months. Natty and I went to visit my friends Shannon and Laura since they'll be moving away to Lexington, VA for Shannon's Law Degree. We had a great time at their going away party. My friend Stephanie came to visit from Portland and we practiced being as scared as we could in front of the camera. I was scared AND enraged. I burned a WHOLE LOT of trees in my backyard and Nat took that picture of the glowing embers. Steph and I went to the Exotic Feline Rescue Center and they were not happy. My brother's child shows why he's my brother's child as he attempts to throw the ball in my face. Also, we went to Chicago and took a picture of the traffic. We were there to attend a friend's birthday party and also to see John Malkovich in "Klimt". Wow. That movie was terrible. And, of course, Peyton is doing wonderfully. That's all for now. Well, this is the ol' christening. Welcome to everyone who takes interest in my life--from the most cursory to the disturbingly obsessed. Yes, you know who you are.

I busted out my finest hair band for my annual birthday brunch. It was great fun and big thanks to my lady friend for making it so special. Thirty-two is creeping. Creeping towards the peak of that hill. What will happen once I'm over it? Maybe I'll have upgraded to scrunchies.

The Bloomington summer has reached the hotness. The University sports complex has shut down because of the heat index. When once folks collapsed because I shot a three in their eye, now it is because of heat stroke. Truly, I'm not sure what's worse. Welp, more to come later. Just thought I'd taker out for a spin.
